Local Attractions

Las Ramblas is one of the most emblemtaic streets in Barcelona . Starts from Plaza Cataluña and ends in the port, particularly in front of Christopher Columbus monument.In Las Ramblas are very famous the stands with birds and flowers. We can also find along the street, human statues. There are a lot of cafe bars and souvenirs shops. This is only 2min walk from our hotel.

 

Mercat de la Boqueria is the more well-known food market in Barcelona. Their stops are a spectacle. Est on the Ramblas.


Gothic Quarter:you will find here the medieval streets of Barcelona,  very narrow and full of shops of  crafts, jewelry ... We recommend you lost along the history of these streets that won´t  leave you indifferent. You can visit in St Jaume square( Plaza de Sant Jaume) theCity Halland the Catalan Goverment Palace(Palau de la Generalitat). This is walking distance from the hotel.

 

Casa Batlló Gaudi building. Also used for weddings and events. This is on Passeig de Gracia .

 

La Pedrera Gaudi building. You can still find people who live in there.This is also in Passeig de Gràcia..

 

La Sagrada Familia: Gaudi Church. It is the symbol of Barcelona. This is in Mallorca Street 

 

Parc Gell it was longtime ago gaudi´s house. The park is full of symbols that remind us of its architecture. This is on Vallcarca

 

Parc de la Ciutadella It is the biggest big park in Barcelona and we can find the zoo in there. 

 

Arc de Trionf: It was Designed by architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas  as the main entrance to the Barcelona Universal Exposition of 1888

 

Mercat de Santa Catarina : market that it has been recently renovated.Very charming.

 

The Born: when we talk about this quarter we talk about "Soho" in Barcelona. There are many art galleries and trendy shops. restaurants and bars with a lot of fashion people. 

 

Olimpic Port and Port Vell Olympic Port is full of restaurants and bars on the beach. It's very nice to stroll along the seafront. In Port Vell you will be able to see nice boats and spectacular yachts, as well as enjoy some fresh seafood at one of the terraces. 

 

Plaza de Espanya and Montjuich: In the Plaza of Spain is the trade show in Barcelona and magic fountaine(this is how we call it) has a show with music and lights every Friday and Saturday at 9pm

 

Pueblo español:it  is a replica of the different village in Spain. You can also watch a very good flamenco show.

 

Palau de Pedralbes : It was the residence of the Spanish royal family   between 1919 and 1931 during their  visits to the city. Today the Palaceis a Museum of Ceramics and Museum of Decorative Arts
