The hotel doors open, and you head outside. The streets in El Raval are brimming with personality and life. It’s a very centrally-located neighbourhood, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Right across from us, you can enjoy chocolate bonbons and gluten-free cakes. If you keep walking down, you will find little cafes full of personality. This area has plenty of nice restaurants. Keep walking, and you reach a square with arcades around it. In this same square, outside the arcades, you find the Central del Raval, a bookshop-café. You’ll love its courtyard. We can guide you with some recommendations.
The narrow, labyrinthine streets of the Gothic Quarter seem to tell stories at every step. Very close to our hotel, within walking distance of Passeig de Gràcia, you can find some buildings, such as Casa Batlló or La Pedrera, that seem to come to life with their undulating shapes, twisted iron balconies, and façades full of color and floral details. Walking down this street feels like strolling through an open-air art gallery.
